CHANNELING WIND POWER THE EUROPEAN WAY

The European Union's Economic Recovery Plan, passed on May 6, allocates €5 billion for on and offshore energy projects. Wind farms already source four percent of the E.U.'s total energy usage. This new funding enables construction for more farms, on and off shore, to boost that figure to as much as 28 percent by 2030. That's enough to power 85 percent of the homes in the European Union.
